Galahad Book One: The Comet's Curse
It started with a simple idea: What would happen if a large group of teens set out on a journey to colonize a new world…and there were no adults around?
That idea spawned what would become known as Galahad. The first volume, The Comet’s Curse, has been hailed by critics (both young and old!) as a visionary tale of adventure and courage. The Colorado Independent Publishers Association selected The Comet's Curse as not only the ‘Best Young Adult Book’ in Colorado, it claimed the top prize overall in ALL genres.
In March, 2006, Writer’s Digest magazine tapped the book as the Grand Prize winner in their annual ‘Best Self-Published Book’ awards, beating out more than 1500 entries from around the world.
Imagine my delight when Tor Books, known around the world as the number one publisher of science fiction and fantasy, became the new home for Galahad. Ask for The Comet's Curse at your neighborhood book store, or order online.
Thanks to all of the Galahad fans who stormed The Tattered Cover Book Store in Highlands Ranch, CO, for the official launch party of The Comet's Curse. What a great time!
