Have you ever daydreamed that you could stop time? What if you could freeze everything and everyone around you...but you could still move about? That's the bizarre concept behind this month's writing assignment. Read more about it...
It's a crazy idea, but what if you were given that special power to use only once? Suppose you were allowed to move around in a world that had frozen in time, but you only had 60 minutes to do so. What would you do? Where would you go?
In your story, who grants you this wish? And why? Then, when the clock starts and the world around you grinds to a halt, how do you get where you're going, and what are you trying to accomplish?
Remember, in creative writing assignments like this, there are no limits to what your imagination can invent. Use the storyboard concept found in the May Writing Tip and create a fun story that involves an interesting setting, some unexpected drama, and a wild climatic scene!
