Nurturing Your Inner Nerd

P.J. Hoover is the author of The Emerald Tablet and The Necropolis, as well as the forthcoming Solstice, her first novel for teens. And when she's not writing books (or practicing kung fu, or solving Rubik's Cubes), P.J. also runs the popular blog PJHoover.com.

After spending some time with Dom at the recent Texas Library Association conference, P.J. asked if he'd contribute a guest post for her site. The result is an article called 'Nurturing Your Inner Nerd', and it's a fun look at the nerdy traits that make up a good writer. It also contains some really great advice from a wide range of writers, including Hemingway (pictured left), Vonnegut, and Elmore Leonard.

P.J. is also nice enough to offer up a signed copy of the first book in the Galahad series, The Comet's Curse. You can enter to win right here. Good luck!
