Dom visits middle school in support of innovative reading program

On November 11, Galahad series author Dom Testa made an appearance at Colorado's Preston Middle School, where he spoke with students and parents about his award-winning young adult book, The Comet's Curse.

The school used grant money to purchase copies of the book for each of the students taking part in the program, who then read it along with their parents before attending two evening discussions, complete with catered food and a visit from the author himself. Dom spent more than an hour discussing the genesis of the book and answering questions, while also addressing topics like persistence, creativity, and the realization that 'smart is the new cool.'

UPDATE: Since Dom's appearance at Preston, we've received dozens of letters and email from those in attendance. Here's a sample of what we're hearing:
